“ We were so confused to why there are to Cochinita Powers just around the corner from each other. We meant to go to one, specifically for the decor for instgram pictures but somehow ended up at the other. The menu has about 5 variations of the exact same thing, which was also confusing. We ordered 3 things off the menu, and they were all with the exact same insides. It tasted fantastic, but if we knew the menu was all just pulled pork, we wouldnt have gotten that many things..... kind of odd. No one speaks english here but that is okay, google translate and pointing to the menu works just fine. All that being said, it tasted great. tacos are a must, forget everything else.... I've included photos of both locations (again, which are a minute walk from eachother) ”
“ Cocina Campechana in a flashy setting. This compact fast-food joint specialises in cochinita, a dish from the state of Campeche similar to pulled pork in the States. The time I went, the service was a bit slow and not particularly enthusiastic (this could be to do with it being a Saturday morning but nevertheless...). I had the biggest torta option which was tasty but kind of fell apart half way through. I also thought the pricing of the soft drinks was a bit on the cheeky side. Overall, I can see the appeal of this place but for me it didn't quite live up to the hype. ”
